Ludvik Honored for Work and Research in Student Affairs

marilee award
Dr. Marilee Bresciani Ludvik, a professor of Postsecondary Educational Leadership, has recognized as a Diamond Honoree by the American College Personnel Association (ACPA) for her work in student affairs.

Ludvik, who also coordinates the masters in Postsecondary Educational Leadership with a specialization in Student Affairs, directs the Multidisciplinary Leadership minor, the Mindfulness-based Integrative Inquiry program, and the Institutional Research, Planning, and Assessment Certificate. Because of her extensive work in student affairs, the ACPA selected her as a Diamond Honoree to be recognized at the Association’s convention this March in Montreal.

The Diamond Honoree Program, established in 1999, is a way for those that care about students, and the research, scholarship, and programs that promote student development and success to help advance those efforts. Ludvik joins a host of 17 other scholars who will continue to raise funds to support the ACPA Foundation and it's support of the research, scholarship and programs that advance the field of student affairs.

Ludvik’s most recent research focuses on using translational neuroscience to inform the design and evaluation of workshops and curriculum to decrease stress and anxiety. It is this continued research that earned Ludvik the position of Diamond Honoree and her findings are expected to have a profound impact on higher education.

Congratulations to Marilee on her recognition!
