SDSU's College of Education was well-represented in the 2018
American Association of Hispanics in Higher Education (AAHHE) conference this past March. In addition to the prestigious accomplishment of Dr. Marissa Vasquez being awarded Outstanding Latino/a Faculty in Higher Education: Service/Teaching Award, we had two joint doctoral students Gabriela Kovats Sanchez and Anthony Villarreal, named as graduate fellows. There were also three undergraduate students who presented at the conference, all of whom are affiliated with the
Community College Equity Assessment Lab (CCEAL) - Bryan Osorio, Anthony Mota, and Oscar Duran.
More information can be found on the
AAHHE website and in the full
