Every month, the University of California Curriculum Integration (UCCI) Institute features one of the extraordinary educators that have worked with the Institute as well as within the UCCI Faculty Exchange. The month of October saw San Diego State and College of Education alumna Tameka McGlawn as the featured faculty member.
McGlawn earned her B.S. in Criminal Justice as an undergraduate at SDSU, followed by an M.S. in Multicultural Counseling from the College of Education. McGlawn was featured for her work with ConnectED and her interest in educational reform. Visit the UCCI newsletter website to learn more about McGlawn’s work with ConnectED and how she is making a difference in the academic community.
