Dr. Doug Fisher, a professor in the Department of Educational Leadership (EDL), has been appointed to the Administrator Performance Assessment (APA) Design Team.
As an active participant in the APA Design Team, Fisher was selected from a pool of distinguished educators and leaders to help California's Commission on Teacher Credentialing design a model administrator performance assessment. The Commission on Teacher Credentialing works each year to maintain the high standard that credential candidates must meet in order to successfully complete their respective programs.
As an EDL faculty member, Fisher will focus on designing the Administrator Performance Assessment that Educational Leadership students must pass to earn their degree. This important work will influence the preparation of school administrators throughout California and will allow SDSU to leave its mark on educational leadership throughout the state. Congratulations to Dr. Fisher!
