The College of Education’s Online Master of Arts in Teaching has celebrated an important milestone by seeing each of the members of its first cohort graduate.
The 2015-2016 Online MAT cohort saw a 100% graduation rate due to the incredibly talented students enrolled in the program, as well as the supportive program advising team. Faculty members Dr. Val Pang and Dr. Luke Duesbery played a large role in supporting students academically throughout the program and staff member Andrea Saltzman Martin who assisted in the technology planning of the program.
Graduates from the 2015-2016 cohort are based in various locations such as Los Angeles, Humboldt and the Bay area, with one student even located in Spain!
COE Dean Joe Johnson commented that, “such positive results require the dedicated effort of faculty, staff, and students. So, thanks to all of the faculty who have been involved in the program.”
The Online MAT program is excited to continue recruiting excellent candidates and information about applying can be found at the Online MAT website.
